Return & Exchange Policy

At Number2project – Sofa & Recliner Repair Experts, we specialize in technical furniture and recliner repair parts. Due to the nature of these products, please review our policy carefully before placing an order.


30-Day Defective Item Policy

  • We offer a 30-day return or exchange only for defective items.

  • The 30-day period begins on the date the item is delivered.

  • Items must be unused, unmodified, and in original condition.


Exchanges for Defective Items

  • Defective items may be exchanged within 30 days of delivery.

  • Authorization from Number2project is required before returning any item.

  • Replacement parts are shipped after the defective item is received and inspected, unless otherwise approved.


No Returns or Exchanges for Incorrect Orders

Because recliner and furniture parts are model-specific and diagnosis-dependent, we do not accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Incorrect parts ordered

  • Faulty, incomplete, or incorrect diagnosis

  • Parts that do not resolve the issue

  • Incompatibility with your furniture, mechanism, motor, or brand

  • Buyer error, guesswork, or change of mind

  • Installation mistakes or improper handling

Shipping Responsibility

  • Customers are responsible for all return and exchange shipping costs.

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

  • Number2project is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method.


Authorization Required – Contact Us First

  • Do NOT send items back without contacting us first.

  • Unauthorized returns will be refused and returned at the customer’s expense.

  • To request a return or exchange, you must provide:

    • Order number

    • Clear photos and/or video showing the defect

    • Description of the issue

    All sales are considered professional purchases. Dealers are expected to verify compatibility and diagnosis.
    Returns or exchanges are only accepted for confirmed defects and require prior authorization.
