Answer: There are a few ways you can repair furniture. If the damage is small, you may be able to fix it with wood glue or a wood filler. If the damage is more extensive, you may need to replace the damaged piece of wood. In some cases, you may need to refinish the entire piece of furniture.

Answer: There are a few ways that you can try to repair furniture scratches. One is to use a wood filler. This will involve taking care of the wood first by sanding it down and then filling in the scratch with the wood filler. Another option is to use a bondo or similar product. This is a putty that can be used to fill in scratches and holes. You will want to follow the directions on the package for best results. You can also try using a crayon or colored pencil to color in the scratch. If this does not work, you may need to call in a professional furniture repair person to take care of it for you.

Answer: Rattan furniture is beautiful but can be a little tricky to repair. If you're lucky, the manufacturer might have a repair service, but if not, you'll likely have to take it to a specialist. Rattan is made from natural materials, so it's important that any repair is done properly and with the same materials that were used to make the piece originally. There are a few things you can do to try and fix rattan furniture yourself before taking it in for professional repairs. If a piece is just loose, you can try and re-glue it using a wood adhesive. If there are cracks in the rattan, you can use a wood filler or even superglue.

Answer: Yes, leather furniture can be repaired! However, it is important to note that the type of repair needed will vary based on the type of damage sustained. For example, if your leather couch has a tear, you'll need to use a patch kit or have it professionally reupholstered. On the other hand, if your leather chair has cracks or scratches, you can try using a leather conditioner or polish to cover them up. Whatever the case may be, it's always best to consult a professional before attempting any repairs on your own.

Answer: To repair furniture, you will need some basic tools and supplies. These include a screwdriver, hammer, nails, and screws. You may also need a saw if the damage is severe. First, assess the damage to your furniture. If it is just a few scratches or scuffs, you can easily fix this with some sandpaper and varnish. However, if the damage is more extensive, you may need to replace some of the damaged parts. Next, gather your tools and supplies. If you need to replace any parts of your furniture, measure the pieces so you know what size to get. Then, head to your local hardware store or home improvement store.

Answer: The cost of furniture repair will depend on the extent of the damage, the type of repair required, and the materials needed. Generally, minor repairs (e.g., replacing a missing screw or tightening a loose joint) will cost less than more extensive repairs (e.g., refinishing or reupholstering an entire piece of furniture). If you need to hire a professional to do the work, expect to pay anywhere from $50 to $100 per hour. However, if you are comfortable with doing some of the repairs yourself, there are many online tutorials that can show you how to fix common problems (e.g., replacing a leg on a chair, repairing a seam on a cushion, etc.).

Answer: There are a few simple ways to repair furniture scratches. If the scratch is relatively shallow, you can usually just use a wood filler to fill it in. Deeper scratches may require you to first sand down the area around the scratch to create a smooth surface for the filler. Once the filler is dry, you can then sand it down and paint or stain over it to match the rest of the piece of furniture. If the scratch is severe, you may need to replace damaged pieces of wood or veneer. However, this is generally a job best left to a professional.

Answer: Thanks for the question! If your furniture has been chewed by a dog, there are a few things you can do to repair it. First, if the damage is just cosmetic, you can try using some wood filler. You'll want to choose a color that closely matches the wood, and then just fill in the holes or teeth marks. Once it's dry, you can sand it down until it's flush with the rest of the surface. If the damage is more structural, you'll need to do something more serious. For example, if a leg on a chair has been chewed through, you'll need to replace it. You can usually find replacement parts at your local hardware store.

Answer: First, identify the type of veneer on your furniture. There are basically two types of veneers: those that are glued on and those that are attached with nails or screws. If the veneer is glued on, you can try repairing it by using a glue gun to attach a new piece of veneer over the damaged area. You may also need to use clamps to hold the new piece in place while the glue dries. If the veneer is attached with nails or screws, you can try removing them and then replacing them with new ones. Make sure that you use the same type of nail or screw as the original ones so that they will be able to hold the veneer.

Answer: There are a few different ways to approach repairing furniture with wood filler, and the method you choose will depend on the damage you're trying to repair. For larger holes or cracks, you'll need to use a little bit of plastic wood along with in order to create a strong bond. Once your adhesive has dried, simply smooth it out with sandpaper and paint it over to match the color to the rest of the furniture piece until it looks like new!

Answer: One of the most effective ways to fix dents in woodworking projects or furniture is with heat and steam. Apply a few drops water onto your dent, then apply pressure using an old cloth that you can find around the house for this purpose (a piece of fabric lacking any significant amounts moisture). Answer: If your electric recliner is having issues, there are a few things you can try to repair it yourself. First, check to make sure that the power supply is plugged in and working properly. Next, inspect the mechanism to see if there are any loose or broken parts. If you find any damage, try to fix it with a new part or repair the existing one. Finally, test the recliner by sitting in it and depressing the control button to see if it works properly. If none of these solutions work, then you may need to call in a professional for help.

Answer: If your electric recliner suddenly stops working, it may be due to a problem with the actuator. The actuator is responsible for moving the chair back and forth, and if it breaks, your chair won't be able to move. Luckily, replacing a broken actuator is relatively easy and only takes a few minutes. Here's how you can do it yourself: First, you'll need to remove the power source from the chair by unplugging it from the wall or removing the batteries. Next, locate the screws that hold the actuator in place and remove them. There are usually four screws holding the actuator in place - two on each side. Once the screws are removed, you should be able to install new motor.

Answer: If your electric recliner switch bottom is not working, you may need to replace it. To do this, you will first need to remove the old switch. This can be done by unscrewing the switch from the bottom of the recliner and pulling it out. Once the old switch is removed, you can install a new one by screwing it into place and then pushing it into the hole at the bottom of the recliner. Make sure that the switch is in position before tightening the screws so that it will be in contact with both the metal parts on either side of the hole. Test out your recliner to make sure that it is now working properly.

Answer: There are a few ways to repair dresser drawer slides. One way is to purchase new drawer slides and install them. This is the easiest way to fix the problem, but it can also be the most expensive. Another way to fix the drawer slides is to loosen the screws on either side of the slide, lift the drawer out, and then apply lubricant or graphite powder to the railings on both sides of the slide. Put the drawer back in and tighten the screws. A third way to repair dresser drawer slides is to take them off of the dresser, clean them up, and then apply a small amount of wood glue to each railing before putting them back on.

Answer: There are a few different ways that you can go about repairing a broken drawer box. Depending on the severity of the damage, you may be able to simply glue or tape it back together. If the damage is more significant, you may need to replace the entire drawer box. If the damage is minor, start by cleaning up any loose pieces of wood or debris. Then, use a strong adhesive to glue the pieces back together. You can also use heavy-duty tape to secure the repair. If the break is in a visible area, you may want to use a wood filler putty to make sure that it blends in with the rest of the drawer box once it dries.

Sebastian was fantastic! Not only did he do a great job fixing the frame of our large sectional, but he was super considerate of us and our space (putting on shoe covers, cleaning up really well, always wearing a mask, etc.). We'll likely get another 10 years out of our couch, thanks to Sebastian!

Thank you so much Sebastian! My reclining couch and love seat were not working properly. I found Number2Project online. Best find of the year! This set is very sentimental to me . My husband and I picked out the couch set a few years before he passed away so getting rid of it was not an option. Upon meeting Sebastian for our appointment he was very kind and respectful, he came in and repaired one of the reclining pulleys he also diagnosed and fixed the problem with the looseness of all the reclining backs. I would recommend him to anyone needing furniture repair.

My husband's leather recliner stopped reclining all the way and you could also feel something going on with the springs. Sebastian was able to diagnose the issue and repair it. It now works perfectly. I suspect he lubricated the inner workings of hubby's chair as well as mine while he was at it, because neither one of them squeaks now when in motion. We also had a bar height table that was custom made for my husband when he retired from the Air Force and we wanted to be able to use it as an end table. Sebastian took the legs off and cut them down to the proper height. He also added leveling feet (it never sat completely level on our tile floor.) He was very professional and courteous. I highly recommend this company.

I was thrilled that Sebastian took on this project. The window frame was from a very old barn. A very good friend made it into a mirror. It was damaged during a construction project and it turned out that much of the wood had rotted out. Sebastian did a truly amazing job of restoring it! He is so knowledgeable about wood and had also given us great advice on some other issue we were having with our custom kitchen cabinets. He is wonderful to work with!

Sebastian was excellent! He was honest, timely, hardworking friendly and professional. He helped us determine an alternative plan for our kitchen, pointing out that we should think about our young children and the west and tear they will cause over the years. His idea saved us a lot of money, time and work. We really appreciated Sebastian’s work and our cabinets look great! We would highly recommend working with him.

Our 35+ year old kitchen cabinets needed knobs and hinges added before painting. Sebastian is professional, service oriented, and highly attentive to detail! We were communicated with throughout the project. We wished we could have known him to do the painting prior to signing the painting contract. He is our go to guy now! Our next project- bathroom cabinets that we will schedule him back to restore!

Sebastian of Number2project gave us more than our money’s worth by taking our old wooden chair, the style of which is no longer manufactured, and crafted a solution for a loose chair back. As he was not satisfied with his first effort at repairing it, he continued laboring on it met his satisfaction—all at no extra cost to us. We were impressed with this measure of his character and craftsmanship, and will definitely not hesitate to return to him for future work. Thank you, Sebastian!
